Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Aglantis Smart Irrigation mobile application (the "Service") operated by AGLANTIS PTY LTD ("us", "we", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Aglantis Smart Irrigation is an IoT-based irrigation management system that provides:
Real-time monitoring of irrigation systems
Automated control of pumps and valves
Data collection and analysis
Alert notifications
Historical data access
Multi-user access management
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Registration
You must register for an account to use the Service.
3.2 Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Data Collection and Privacy
4.1 Data Collection
We collect and process data including:
Irrigation system performance metrics
Soil moisture readings
Water usage data
System alerts and notifications
User interaction logs
4.2 Compliance with Privacy Policy
All data collection and processing comply with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

5. Hardware Integration
The Service requires integration with specific IoT hardware components including:
LoRaWAN gateways
Soil moisture sensors

Pressure transducers

Irrigation control valves
Irrigation pumps
5.1 Hardware Provision and Installation:
We will provide all necessary hardware components for the Service
Installation must be performed by our authorized technicians or approved contractors
Any unauthorized modifications to the hardware will void the warranty
5.2 Hardware Maintenance:
Regular maintenance will be performed according to our service schedule
You must provide reasonable access to the hardware for maintenance
You must notify us immediately of any hardware malfunction or damage
5.3 Hardware Responsibilities:
We are responsible for:
Initial hardware setup and configuration
Regular maintenance and updates
Hardware replacements under warranty
Technical support for hardware issues
You are responsible for:
Providing secure and appropriate installation locations
Protecting hardware from vandalism or theft
Following our guidelines for hardware operation
Reporting any damage or malfunction promptly
5.4 Hardware Warranty:
All hardware components come with manufacturer warranties
Warranty terms are specified in separate hardware documentation
Warranty does not cover damage from misuse or unauthorized modifications
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Use the Service for legitimate agricultural purposes only
Maintain accurate account information
Ensure proper installation and maintenance of hardware components
Follow recommended safety procedures
7. Service Limitations
7.1 Service Availability
While we strive for 100% uptime, we cannot guarantee:
Uninterrupted service
Real-time data accuracy
Continuous LoRaWAN connectivity
Immediate alert delivery
7.2 Maintenance
The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in the Service remain with AGLANTIS PTY LTD.
8.2 Restrictions
You may not:
Copy or modify the Service
Attempt to extract the source code
Create derivative works
Reverse engineer the application
9. Liability and Consumer Rights
9.1 Service Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, except for guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
9.2 Consumer Rights
Under the ACL, you have certain consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits these statutory rights.
9.3 Liability Limitations
We are not liable for:
Crop losses
Water wastage
Equipment damage
Environmental impacts
Financial losses resulting from system usage or failure
except where such liability cannot be excluded under Australian law.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for:
Violation of these Terms
Unauthorized system access
Misuse of the Service
Non-payment of fees (if applicable)
11. Changes to Terms
11.1 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
11.2 Effect of Changes
Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Initial Contact
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@aglantis.com.au.
14.2 Resolution Process
If we cannot resolve the dispute directly:
Either party may seek mediation through the Australian Mediation Association
You may lodge a complaint with the ACCC or relevant state consumer protection agency
You retain the right to pursue legal action under Australian law
14.3 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits your right to pursue action under the Australian Consumer Law.
